Antitrust Matters
- Represented one of the largest plastics, chemicals and refining companies in the world (public company), with US operations headquarters in Houston, Texas, in a DOJ investigation regarding possible price fixing of polyurethane chemicals and products. Assisted client in responding to grand jury subpoena requests, while leading internal investigation into the factual allegations and legal risks. Organized and managed large investigation team of both internal client personnel and outside experts.
- Represented whistleblower company and individual owner in price fixing investigation by DOJ and FBI regarding silicone wristband manufacturers. Representation included navigating client’s extensive cooperation with DOJ and working with FBI agents to gather evidence against competitors.
- Currently representing an engineering design services firm and its individual owner in a price fixing and bid rigging investigation in the Southern District of Texas, as well as related civil litigation brought by a multinational technology company.
